Gene Harris Bandshell in Julia Davis Park

Now in it’s fourth year, Opera in the Park promises an extraordinary lineup of world-class soloists. This family-friendly event kicks off at 5:00 pm with an array of food trucks, a beer and wine garden, a fun raffle, and even face painting for the kids. Attendees can look forward to a night of musical enchantment, enjoying highlights from our upcoming season, cherished opera classics, and selections from musical theatre. The concert will culminate in a joyous sing-along of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “A Grand Night for Singing.”

We are honored to welcome back Maestro Andy Anderson as conductor. The concert will feature the talents of Opera Idaho’s Orchestra and Chorus throughout the evening. For the first time, the Opera Idaho Children’s Choruses will also be performing, thanks to the generous support from the Whittenberger Foundation.
