Suggested Donations
The Wedding – $1,000
Just like any wedding needs a location, decorations, flowers, etc., an opera needs many elements to come to life. Your donation of $1,000 will help us pay for the venue, the sets, the performers, and so much more!
The Band – $750
Though many songs have come to replace the traditional “Here Comes the Bride,” music is an integral element of any wedding and opera alike. Your donation of $750 will help us pay for the orchestra for The Marriage of Figaro.
The Dress – $500
A wedding would not be complete without the wedding dress, the bridesmaids’ dresses, and the groom’s and groomsmen’s tuxes. Your donation of $500 will help us pay for costumes for The Marriage of Figaro.
The Honeymoon – $250
Visiting new and exotic locations can be fun and expensive. For many of our artists, Boise is a new and exciting city to get to know while in town for opera rehearsals. Your donation of $250 will help us cover some of the travel expenses of these talented artists!
The Kids – $100
Sometime children come after marriage. The children will then need to go to school, and be introduced to everything, including opera. Your donation of $100 will help us cover the cost of visiting elementary and high schools in the Treasure Valley and beyond with an abridged opera.
The Home – $50
Just as the happy couple will need a roof over their heads, our Emerging Artists will need lodging when they visit schools outside the Treasure Valley. Your donation of $50 will help us pay for hotels or Airbnbs for our artists while they take opera to children throughout Idaho.
