Join us for a recital with former Opera Idaho Resident Company member, tenor Ian Kelly. After graduating from Boise State University in May 2020, Ian earned a coveted spot in the U.S. Army Chorus. Founded in 1956, the chorus is the vocal counterpart of The United States Army Band and is one of the only professional men’s choruses in the country. The group regularly performs at the White House, the residence of the Vice President, the U.S. Capitol and the U.S. Department of State.

The concert will feature musical theatre songs like “Oh, What a Beautiful Morning” from Oklahoma!, “Bring Him Home” from Les Misérables, “Maria” from West Side Story, as well as art songs by Schubert. Accompanied by Chad Spears.
