A message from CMVA
Michael Porter, Artistic Director for CMVA, has been working diligently on finding a way for this incredible ensemble to perform. Opera Idaho has had a few small, socially-distanced events. Following social distancing guidelines in a small event with less than a handful of singers has been challenging, but not impossible. Choral singing with many participants presents many more challenges. For the moment, CMVA has to take an extended intermission.
While we may not be able to bring you choral music in person at this time, a few members of CMVA were able to gather recently and record the video above. There were strict social distancing guidelines in place to keep all our singers safe. Everyone had to wear a mask, remain six feet apart as they entered the Boise Philharmonic building, and were spaced 10 feet apart from each other in the large rehearsal hall. We hope you enjoy this beautiful piece.
