Children’s Choruses Auditions
Younger singers are asked to sing “Twinkle, Twinkle” in three different keys and then echo clapping. This is so we can determine the singer’s range, if they can move up, find their pitch and follow tempo.
The older singers must sing “America” (My Country ‘tis of Thee). Then we will check their vocal range, do some tonal memory activities, have them read rhythms from flash cards, and then sing a round together with one of the directors.
If your child is interested in joining Opera Idaho’s Children’s Choruses, call 208-345-3531 x2 or email: email@example.com to reserve your audition slot.
